@PokemonRestocks Got 2 Ascended Heroes ex Boxes and canceled the order once I realized it was coming from a reseller and way above MSRP. I’d rather not have any than to support the bullshit price gouging going on in this hobby.
@Pattman_D@XBOX@XBOXSupport My launch version worked as well! Unfortunately, had to sell it and kept my Series S for that time which also worked. Sold my Series S to put towards a new X and here we are.
Since around last November hundreds of users including me cannot download a 360 profile on new Series X and S consoles. They posted a “fix” that was an old fix with no explanation or recognition why it didn’t work for everyone and why it still doesn’t. Kotaku even did an article on it.
@activesanchez@PokemonRestocks Ends up being $5.55 a pack and my kids and I got some cool cards out of the 2 I found in store the other day. I got the 1 of the 6ct so we have something to open this weekend.
@Kotaku Thank you for the article being @XBOXSupport@XBOX are refusing to acknowledge consumers are still paying full price for consoles with the half the capability.
@XBOXSupport@XBOX@jronald As more and more of these posts pop up across Facebook, Reddit, X etc etc where is the acknowledgement that we’re being charged $650 for new half baked consoles?
Another weekend where I can’t access half my library because my system won’t download a 360 profile through local backwards compatibility with complete silence from @XBOXSupport@XBOX@jronald and a Microsoft Support team that has no idea how to fix it. Hopefully XBOX doesn’t shit the bed this hard with the 25th Anniversary Editions consoles and it’s just us peasants who shelled out $650 for a partial working console.
@RNGingy I would reccomend you don’t and not from a financial perspective. I sold off a lot of my childhood and now that I have kids of my own I’m spending more trying to buy most of it back. That’s just my perspective, everyone’s story is different.
@just_games1984@PokemonRestocks My wife got the Charizard box and 2 chaos rising booster bundles. She has Walmart+ though so I’m not sure if that’s making a difference as I have not been able to snag anything yet.
Some players have been unable to play Xbox 360 games on Xbox series consoles since late last year. Two months ago, Xbox said the issue is fixed. But some players are claiming they still can't access their games. https://t.co/3GepJ39ZMk
@MortarMikey@XBOXSupport It’s refusal of acknowledgement that’s really got to me. Say you’re working on it at the very least for the absolute most basic PR. Then again this is the same company that took 2 years to acknowledge the RRoD so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
@XBOXSupport@XBOXSupport@asha_shar@jronald Can confirm the 360 issue is not fixed. Silly me for thinking my $650 console and $24 a month subscription would work as intended right out of the box or even MONTHS later.
@XBOXSupport@XBOXSupport Is backwards compatibility fixed for the users who can’t download their 360 profile or are we still not acknowledging that one?
