My 6th birthday in Germany. The tradition of blowing out candles stems from ancient Greece, where people believed candle smoke carried prayers to the gods. Over time, this evolved in medieval Germany into the practice of wishing while blowing out the candles called Kinderfeste.

🚨 FINALLY, after years of pressure, the RSPCA is strongly backing a full ban on non-stun slaughter! 🚨

They've launched an open letter to Defra demanding the UK government ends this cruel practice for good, no exemptions, no excuses.
