Last week, we celebrated the installation of ‘Stepping Stones’ Arts in Health Project at the Alders Unit which began back in 2020 as preparation for the relocation of the service to CHI at Tallaght.

St Clare’s and St Louise’s Unit in CHI at Connolly and CHI at Tallaght will now be known as 'The Alders Unit'.

We were delighted to welcome artist Colin Martin to CHI at Connolly where his remarkable painting 'Spacestation' now hangs in the OPD corridor on the way to radiology🤩
It has gotten our staff and patients talking about what can be found hidden in the painting 🖼️🎨
5 Magical Days CREATING RAINBOWS in collaboration with @CHI_Ireland & @RuaRed. Artist Fernanda Ferrari (one of the sparkliest artists we've ever met) introduced us to the Dandelion Clock Sculptures created by Remco De Fouw & then we played with shadows & made glorious worlds🌈

These were photographed in playful poses within the building & its surrounds, reminding us that this is a place for children and young people where play, humour, mischief, and comfort matter❤️
