Like saying "not here" when asked where someone's from: rude and NON-descriptive! Answers the wrong question
part of maturity is realizing that you could be the loveliest person in the world and still not be able to please everyone so lean into your own weirdness and treasure the few who truly get you.
@3TrackMind79 For me i think it's just deeply ingrained masking habits. Being perceived = performing for others. At least on some level. Even with people i can really be myself around, i still feel this. It's exhausting
@fulhamwerecat@MokanaM Omg this. We had an old fridge that would make all the weird noises - but only sometimes - and i would just be trying to sleep like "what in god's name is that noise?!"
@danidonovan Maybe not the easiest but you can make a lot of vegetables into a gratin. Slice your veg thin, mix with sauce and shredded cheese and bake. My favorite version is made with zucchini, salsa verde, and gruyere
