She goes very quiet and very still all at once as she regards her brother before reaching out and flicking him in the forehead. It’s her favorite way to let her brothers know she’s annoyed with them.

“Why are you just now telling me you’re dating Sansa again?!”

“Okay, Meera, don't make me smack you, it won't end well for me!” Huffs. “Sansa! I'm dating Sansa.”

She tilts her head to the side because this just isn’t adding up. “You’re dating one of Sansa’s closest friends? Her /sister/?! Don’t tell me it’s Arya...”

Snorts at that and shakes his head. “I mean I'm seeing a psychiatrist but I see how you'd get that wrong.” He purses his lips. “But yeah, I am seeing someone. Ellie's met her since day 1, even before me.”

Because she is the older sibling and therefore is superior to baby brother one and baby brother two.

“I have a cell phone! Again, you dick! And you cannot tell me you’ve been having nonstop sex this entire time... you get winded after running a mile.”

He has a black belt in judo, how is she still kicking his ass.

Yelps and let her inspect the ring with a grumble. “Okay, first of all, you were gone too. You can blame our runt. Second, I was gonna call! I was... caught up in... celebratory sex.”

“You’re seeing someone but she’s not your girlfriend?” This is far more interesting than her question about Ellie... she’ll get to that later.

“Who is this new lucky lady? Has she met Ellie yet? Don’t lie to me or I’ll disappear forever.”

“It's the best answer, I promise. I finally have a degree, I'm seeing someone, I'm taking care of my daughter.. my not-girlfriend..” Blinks and smiles. “Good. I missed you. Don't go just yet.”

She punches him in the shoulder for good measure and nearly pulls his shoulder out of socket when she yanks his hand to her face to inspect the ring.

So his plan backfires, seven hells.

“Stop abusing me! And just like.. for two days, it's fine. I was gonna call!”
