“You know what I think I will.”
A little sarcasm in his tone as he got back up from the ground, still keeping his guard in case the robot would try something funny on them.
“From what I gathered, the air hoses are a major factor, —
"Ah take your damn time while you're at it~"
She answered with a lot of sarcasm and a bit of playfulness in her voice. Her smile even gave it away. The robot dropped on the floor while its engines tried to push it back up. The woman gave one last shot at the first robot before+
He shouldn’t have shot so blindly. Was it stupid? Yes, was he hoping it’d hit one of the robots by some special coincidence, maybe…
He should’ve used his tactical knife instead, but like everything, he’ll get out of this predicament.

Domino's head snapped toward him the second he called out.
"Yeah, I see that—hold on.ᐟ"
She pivoted, ignoring the strain in her leg as she fired a quick shot at the first robot's weakened limb to keep it staggering, buying herself a second. Then she moved fast, circling+

“I was seeing if my scanner could pick something up.” An absolute lie and a little bit of sarcasm.
As soon as her shot hit the joint of the robot’s mechanical foot to lift, Cable grabbed both sides of its foot,

…
It really didn’t help Cable now since he was basically pinned down by a mechanical foot with no access to any knife, so all he had access to was a small firearm and to shoot blindly hoping to hit it or a weak point.
“I shot at what I could. It’s got me pinned for now…”
Continuously scanning the area for any hit markers to help both keep the lead, but just as he was about to announce his findings, he’d heard his name shouted out.
To reveal a second robot to not only him but to both of them since they were trying to defeat the first one…

“While we’ve got a little bit of “time” on our side for now, my scans are picking up on its cortex on its back. However, if we can slow it down, then we’ll be fine.”
Excellent, now that the round pierced through the hose, it’s given them enough time to weaken it further.
Continuing to scan for any further advantages, he was scheming a plan as he kept his eyes and firearm on the robot.

The round tore through the hose with a sharp hiss, sending a spray of fluid into the air. The machine staggered as its left leg faltered, it struggled to keep its balance.
Domino smirked slightly, an eyebrow perked
"Nice one, boss."
“Funny, however, but I’ve picked up a few new tricks along the way.”
A small laugh as he kept his firearm locked and loaded as he scanned the area around to search for weaknesses before lunging at the mechanical menace, firing at one of its hoses on its left leg.
"Mhm~ Let's see if you still got it, time traveler"
She said in a playful tone and pulled her own guns, dodging the leap of the robot as it maneuvers to get the man next.
“Got tired of the whole time travel shtick, and I missed home a tad. Drinks, you say? Sounds like a plan!”
He smiled with reassurance, holstering his trusty pistol the moment he heard the screeching bash towards them.
"Oh.ᐣ we can celebrate with a drink after kicking these robots"
She smiled as the metallic thud hit the floor. One of them stood on the other side of the room, with a screech dashing towards them
A soft smile formed upon his face as he continued to walk beside her.
“I plan on staying. I think I’ve had my fair share of adventures in the future for a while.”
If she needed help he’d be there only if she asked of course.
A soft chuckle escaped her lips. She nodded and walked forward.
"Do you plan on staying or does future call you.ᐣ"
She pushed the door open. She was slower but she should be able to fight
