The Earl gives a huff,
hair tousled and his
clothes a little bit
disheveled from falling
asleep in his study
overnight.

. . oriental but unique, cat-like
features, both with charm and
his curious nature.

"What brought you here
to England, if I may ask?"

He was a gateway to London's
underworld.

Though he typically took out
things that had garnered
Her Majesty's attention, illegal
operations such as an opium
den were something he could be
of considerable help with.

To get on his good side
was a wise choice.

. . and Earl Grey for himself.

He figured a Chinese tea was
appropriate for her tastes.

"Teas like English Breakfast
or my personal favorite,
Earl Grey, may be a tad
strong, although you're
very welcomed to try."

Sitting back, the Earl looked
over her . .

The scent of summer rain is clinging to the air,
and the garden is looking wet and plentiful.

The Earl is going to take a small stroll around it.

He needs to get out of the manor after getting
done a lot of paperwork with a mild headache.

"Would you prefer Chamomile?"

He would make certain she got
what she preferred; interested in
the company that she provided him
with for the time being.

A light purr, offering,

"We have a vast selection
of different types of teas,
if you're feeling adventurous."

Indeed, he was an Aristocrat of Evil.

The head of the group of Aristocrats,
to be specific. . As he was the head
of the Phantomhive household.

It would not spill from his lips yet.

A nod.

He dreaded the thought of it,
often going on such dreadfully
long trips.

"I could imagine how stressful
that may have been."

Then, a pause as he offered a
pleasant smile before he joined
her.

"Welcome to England, Ran. ."

Calling for Tanaka, he fondly
gestured the elderly butler forth.

[the song of achilles bot @tsoa_txt]

She could kill me, I thought. But I did not say this. The breeze was too sweet, and the sun too warm for a thought like that to be spoken.

[the song of achilles bot @tsoa_txt]

There was a vividness to him, even at rest, that made death and spirits seem foolish.
