Why can't I stop asking myself if we're doing something wrong?

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

Cue a sigh.

Joy pinches the bridge of her nose.

[COLLEEN WING @TheDragonsWing]

“Pretty much..—“

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

"What on ( earth ) has been happening since I've been gone? It's like hell has opened up and consumed New York."

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

@TheDragonsWing - Really relaxing. In a way, it makes it that much more difficult to return to things now."

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

@TheDragonsWing Joy notices the hesitation, the change in topic. Eyes narrow towards the other woman but she doesn't press any further.
"Relaxing. -

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

"Alright, which one of you broke the coffee machine?

I swear, if it's another intern--"

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

She needs coffee.
Or sleep.

She can't decipher which.

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

@TheDragonsWing || Is it for a convention?

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

@TheDragonsWing - before taking the seat opposite.
"How's Danny?"

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

@TheDragonsWing Joy's lips stretch into a smile that matches that of Colleen's. Moments later, she places a steaming cup on the desk in front of her -

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

"It's all anyone can do."
Joy takes a pause, contemplating her decision, but ultimately deciding, to offer:

"Coffee?" https://t.co/hOXWLkrlA4

[COLLEEN WING @TheDragonsWing]

She freezes.
Honestly? She doesn’t have an answer.
“...We can only hope it’ll last.” Her lips purse into a pout as she folds her arms. https://t.co/LyIkknTx6h

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

@TheDragonsWing || THAT. LOOKS. AWESOME!! 👌

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

Joy is rarely wrong; a trait she's come to loggerheads with more than she'd like.
"Oh? How long do you think it'll last this time?" https://t.co/HNdLozPH5r

[COLLEEN WING @TheDragonsWing]

In a way Joy isn't wrong.
"Well... Everything is under control now," she replies with a little shrug. https://t.co/0bpcRJkQgk

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

|| I've been out of this fandom for SO LONG but I feel like my muse for Joy is high and I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DOOOO

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

Arches a brow.

"There's always a need to worry." https://t.co/LON3otCB1J

[COLLEEN WING @TheDragonsWing]

Coughs.
"It's over, now...--
No need to worry anymore." https://t.co/WfkGEXmcYP

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

"I can't even go on vacation properly without /something/ happening.

What was it this time?"

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

@RejectAddict ... "Why does that not fill me with hope?

What about?"

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

|| I'm usually just lurking in DMs when I have a spare moment, to be honest.

[Joy Meachum. @OfSolicitude]

|| I feel so bad for not doing replies on here today. I'm in for some super busy days this week, so will reply when I can.
