@SamHulick In the last 4 years of record profits they’ve basically doubled sellers fees, and added a whole slew of other fees as well. It’s not just the 6.5% fee, there’s also listing fees, transaction fees, and advertising fees of 12-15% of every sale as well. All added up 25-30+% per sale
@Ben_Aaronovitch They lose their scholarships unless they have amazing grades and transition to academic scholarships. Rarely happens though. Usually that’s the end of college for them. Also the school usually doesn’t pay the medical bills either. That’s on the individual.
@TheJulieBenson Right there with you, and I work in a restaurant. I’m one of maybe 3 people there working through the entire pandemic who hasn’t gotten it.

On a complete act of random viewing while scrolling Netflix, I stumbled onto the UK sitcom Still Game. It is hands down one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen, despite needing subtitles to understand their English. Highly recommend it.
