Everyone is whining about the bridge being "down" today. Is it your first time using pulsechain?

This entire chain has been plagued with half-assed dev work since its conception... that being said, the bridge isnt actually down. We've all had plenty of time to learn how to navigate the incompetencies around here 🫠

I think a public debate would be a good way to hear both sides of this.. who would be willing to represent each side of these arguments from completely "unofficial" standpoints OBVIOUSLY.

A win-win for PulseChain engagement and also get some real solutions on the table before we have more significant issues.

This is truly unbelievable, one of the VERY last service providers to our chain, Dexscreener, where I would wager > 80 of all Pulsechain attention comes from is now being criticized by the LEAD DEV of Pulsechain

It seems that dexscreener was dependent on G4mm4's node (timing pattern) then people noticed they were not able to swap transfer etc.

It's not because the network itself is down, its because virtually everyone left on pulsechain depends on community nodes. Why do they depend on community nodes? The current (last time i checked) main RPC was running a 5 year old version of erigon with a bug. So people naturally gravitate towards the better working RPC.

This led to massive dependency on g4mm4's node, which obviously has provider issues today. So I had to spend my day explaining to normies in my DMs that the chain didnt go down, just down you interact with the chain and to switch to other RPC providers.

If you think this is even in the slightest bit normal, and expected behaviour from a dev team behind a blockchain that raised $1 billion than you are the fool.

This is egregious neglect, and even if on purpose, ultra self destructive behavior from the 'team' (bret)

Bret (the lead dev) is also now using AI to write posts all day it seems, which are factually incorrect.

Take this quote:

ITS NOT. That's not what's causing the excess load, I ran an RPC for 2 years, its vibecode apps doing getlog calls in an ultra inefficient manner instead of properly indexing and or batching. Not users sending transactions.

Seriously, as a community you NEED to demand more and as I've sat here for the past several years doing nothing but learning more and more about how these things work its enlightened me to just how ignorant and complacent Richard and Bret are.

Demand more or you will regret this whole process.

@bretep Your hardcoded RPC on your main bridge is fucked and people can't get into your chain because of a ridiculously stupid UI bug because the custom RPC list doesnt update the address fetching

Sure, pulsechain isn’t down.

Sure, it’s easy to change the rpc or create your own private one.

But let’s be real, you don’t have to do this on any other chain. All the others work fine forever. You never have to switch or go look for an rpc. Only on Pulsechain.

The chain isn’t going to experience any growth if every time there is momentum, the average user can’t seem to use the chain and they have to create a x account or be a help group to find out why. It looks ghetto, numb nuts. And they will just abandon their position once it’s working again.
