@engineering_bae Having an honest discussion around “company X will pay me more” can lead to:
1. Us adjusting their pay if we can and feel like it’s merited
2. Us helping place that person at a place that’s a better fit, comp-wise

For me both are wins

@engineering_bae For me teams are all about trust. If you encourage transparency and trust constantly (meetings, 1-1s and of course actions taken), I believe people will be honest about what they need / want.
