🚨 BREAKING: No announcement on the Arkansas athletic director is expected from the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees.
Sources familiar with the board’s posture say trustees are not preparing a personnel decision or public statement on Hunter Yurachek at this time. The board’s September 18 resolution directed UA System President Jay Silveria to lead a review of Razorback athletics competitiveness, with an emphasis on football resources. That review is still underway, and no timetable has been set for recommendations.
Board chair Randy Lawson has framed the effort around resources and support for first-year coach Ryan Silverfield, and has not publicly affirmed confidence in the athletic director when asked. Trustee comments have likewise avoided a vote of confidence. Even so, the board is not expected to announce a change in AD status out of the current process.
Yurachek has been Arkansas’ AD since 2017. Any next step would come after Silveria’s review, not as a standalone board announcement.

“See how all of the players wearing red jerseys are facing the same direction? That is in fact the direction they are attempting to go.”
@maenadea This is awesome. The benefits that would be gained in Africa if African Americans went and developed culture centers in Africa would be immense. A culture that regressively impacts American society could really elevate an entire continent.
@acnewsitics You Dumb!: - The point is that a $2000 phone is a luxury item compared to its alternatives implying that consumers are prioritizing the nonessential luxury aspects of a need they could meet for an eighth of the price. Questioning financial responsibility and general competence.
