@AVagabondLife No it does not. Plus you really get to meet the people and experience the country or city. It's an unmatched feeling🙂 and when you leave, you've got more than just photos
Unpopular safari opinion: You will see more by doing less. 😉
The biggest regret travelers have isn't the park they "missed", it’s the one they rushed through.

Pro tip: The best part of a safari isn't always the lions.
It's the coffee with the head ranger, the sunset chat with your guide, or the campfire stories from the team that calls this landscape home.
The people are the pulse of the wild. Don't miss the conversation.

You can book the same safari, but come back with completely different stories.
The difference? A thoughtful itinerary prioritizes the day's rhythm and the quality of the guide over a packed schedule. Slow down to see more.

We’re often so focused on the destination, we miss the "in-between."
The long drives, the roadside stops, the shifting horizons in between.
That’s where the real Kenya lives.
I hope you enjoy the transitions as you move through Kenya.

Mara Elephant Project’s Alpha Team, alongside @KWSKenya, carried out a joint foot patrol in the Mau Forest as part of ongoing efforts to protect this high-risk landscape. During the operation, the team removed 69 wire snares potentially saving dozens of animals from injury or death.
This area is known for high levels of snaring, driven largely by the demand for bushmeat, with antelope species being the primary targets. Moving on foot through challenging terrain, the team works on the frontlines to detect and remove these hidden threats before they can cause harm.
As a high-risk zone, the Mau Forest remains a priority for regular patrols. Through this continued presence, the team is not only protecting wildlife, but also helping to safeguard the broader ecosystem and disrupt ongoing illegal activity.
Nairobi isn’t just a stop before a safari.
It’s where you start understanding it.
And that changes everything that comes after.
