I think social media is great for reminders and posting assignments etc. I super thank STEM for helping me learn how to use canvas and remind 101. I love those forms of communication with students.

I disagree. I think people will loose the face to face skill if they continuously use social media as a form of communication. There is a skill to communicating, and one should practice it to be good at it - handshake, eye contact, body language, facial expressions .....

I am a huge advocate for face to face as well as phone. I think a lot is lost via technology communications.

I simply try to listen so I don't misunderstand directions. I try to listen to students so I can understand their needs.

#STEMinnovates the computer was invented!!! When I was in high school, I had to type papers on a typewriter! The computer makes paper writing and research so easy compared to the 70s and 80s! Has anyone tried to look stuff up in a card catalog drawer!?
