Jesus loves you and he really cares for you.
You are not a mistake.
Whatever has gone wrong before,he still loves you and he still wants you to come closer and back to him.
Will you?

Great men are not made in comfort. They are shaped in loss, rejection, silence, sacrifice, and faith.
Stop viewing the struggle as a curse. It is your calling. It is not a detour. It is the direct path to the man you are meant to become.
Remember my story:
Started late.
Lost businesses.
Went through seven broken relationships.
Waited many years without a promotion.
Battled debt.
Faced rejection.
Fought depression and panic attacks.
Started over again and again.
Left my comfort zone.
Walked through uncertainty.
Cried in silence while still encouraging others.
Failed publicly.
Built slowly when others seemed to move ahead faster.
Yet, I refused to give up.
You too will rise ๐๐ฟ.
@ndukaomeife Crying in silence and encouraging others to move on is something that is not easy to do.
Everyone around will always think such individual is fine not knowing all is not fine. May God help us.
@AbimibiolaPeace No one talks about the loneliness and frustration that comes with trying to get an extra degree either fully funded or paid.
Abimbola ma fo everything go align.
There is one Super Story intro where a father asked the son to jump down from the roof that he would catch him, and asked the son to jump, only for him to pull away as the son fell flat. He then told the son not to trust anybody, even him his father.
I always wanted to address that.
As a parent, one of the best things you can give and should give to your kids, is trust. You owe them a duty to get them to trust you. A child must be able to say without doubt that "my father/mother said this, they would do it." You will not understand the importance of it until it is too late. There is no moral lesson in that super story, it was simply bad parenting. If I ask my child to jump, he should have 100% faith that daddy would catch him.
I don't have a child yet, but I avoid lying to kids. I would rather a child says "Relax, if Uncle Wisdom said he would do it, he would surely do it." How much more my own child? There is something parents used to do when we were growing up, where they ask you to go get your slippers and before you come back, they have disappeared. I learnt from my brother not to do that. If he isn't taking his son along, he tells him straight up. The worst that would happen is that, he would cry. If he tells him to go get his slippers, he would wait for him where he is. The boy has learnt to trust that daddy is not leaving him behind if he goes to get his shoes. Trust is fickle, it is easy to lose it.
Children are impressionable beings, how do you want them to see you? You are the first line of trust for your own child. You shouldn't be teaching them not to trust you. With trust comes security. The are the adult, the responsibility is on you. Trust is not a gift. You have to earn it.
I want to study abroad, but I still don't know the answer to this question:
Do you apply for the program first, or the scholarship?
That confusion is why I built Abroaducate. ๐งต
I think Lecturer should include their supervisee name while publishing their undergraduate thesis. Omitting their names intentionally should be categorized as intellectual theft. I think the student should be aware inasmuch such student input alot of effort to it.
I did something terrible involving one of the business associates of these people. It was around 1995 or 1996.
The first set we knew were the original barter traders. You give them a leaking plastic bucket and they give you a few coins. You could also trade spoilt slippers, old clothes, soft drink bottles, and things like that. They would either give you coins or brand new plastic buckets in return. I had no business with them personally.
Then a new version of the trade came along. This group targeted kids. You could trade shoes, clothes, iron scrap and similar items for coins ranging from 25 kobo to โฆ2, depending on what you brought. Somewhere along the line, someone decided it was a good idea to introduce sweets and Cadbury candies into the mix. That changed everything.
I went to spend the holiday at my maternal grandparents' house. One day, they both went out and left us at home. I started by trading a spoilt pair of slippers and got a sweet in return. The moment that sweet started melting in my mouth, I knew I was in trouble. A stupid little voice in my head said, "The slippers you're wearing also look old. Do you even need them?" That was how it started.
My grandfather's shoes went next. Then my grandmother's slippers. Then my grandfather's relatively old agbรกdรก.
The moment my grandparents came back, one of my younger cousins reported me, upset that the candy I had given him was too small. Greedy b^stard! My grandparents went out to find the barter man. Luckily, he had gone further down the street and was just making his way back when they spotted him. They accused him of exploiting young children, but the man stood on business. He collected twice the worth of the candies he had given me before handing back their clothes and slippers.
I was beaten like a goat that day. It was a sad ending to a day that started so sweet.

And all I can say is: โBless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.โ - Psalm 103:2
God has been faithful through every season.
Through closed doors and open heavens. Through losses, rebuilds, tears, risks, victories, and growth.
He gave strength when I was weak. Hope when the road was uncertain. And grace to keep building, painting, creating, serving, and believing.
Today, I do not just celebrate age. I celebrate mercy. I celebrate purpose. I celebrate the journey.
May the years ahead overflow with greater wisdom, divine health, favour, peace, expansion, and impact.
Thank You Lord for life. Thank You for family. Thank You for vision. Thank You for the gift of people.
The journey continues. ๐๐จ๐ฅโค๏ธ

To my special bulb that left a vacuum, I love you, and I find it hard to discard or replace your space.
Keep smiling at me from the moon, and Iโll keep looking from my room.
Tribute to the Bulb That Refuses to Go Off
Since I moved into this room, there has been this bulb that, each time I look at it, its light makes me happy.
The bulb has been a major illuminant in my room.
special day?
I think I got the answer to that question. My bulb left a day after Childrenโs Day celebration last year because I will always be that boy who cherishes light, and my bulb felt it could always see me more from the moon and not only in my room.
