I am a Police Officer in Ontario Canada who is currently suffering from PTSD. My goal is to bring awareness to all First Responders who are or have suffered
@OfficerPtsd I had stumbled across your account just now too. I'm not an officer but I support and am thankful for those who risk their lives to protect. 👍
I was doing my job. At the time of your death, I was a police officer. And, you tried your best to kill me. I am the police officer that killed you.

When it rains it pours. My mom was rushed to hospital last night and she will be staying there for a few days. I’m really really trying to find the positives in the past 2 weeks but I’m having a difficult time doing so #PTSD
I didn’t sleep too well last night however that won’t stop me from enjoying the beautiful weather today. It’s one of those mornings that I’m forcing myself to get up and start moving. I need coffee! ☕️ #PTSD#PTSDAwareness
Wow the @FANEXPOCANADA is crazy busy for a Thursday but I was still able to get what I came for. I did have a wee bit of anxiety going through the crowds but worth it. Now the drive home! 👎 #PTSD#PTSDAwareness
Just arrived to the physiologist for my apt then off to Toronto. I am very excited for this afternoon to go to the Fan Expo. It was nice waking up this morning excited to go out and do stuff. Haven’t felt like this in a while #PTSD#PTSDAwareness
@the_ptsd @OfficerPtsd Hey #PTSD buddies. There is no wrong way to do #PTSD. Do the best you can in that moment and be gentle & forgiving with yourself when things don’t go as hoped. For me there were a lot of safe “blanket fort” days. Do your recovery your way. #InThisTogether#NotAlone#PTSDFamily
@OfficerPtsd You tube can be used in a positive way bro.. motivational videos, learning coping skills for ptsd and others. Decisions form our lives brother.
I do have a physiologist apt tomorrow at 1230 then off to Toronto. I’m trying to get out more with less YouTube and video games. Although I do find video games help a ton when I’m having a crappy day #PTSD#PTSDAwareness
It’s tough. Keep at it, you will beat it. I’m really looking forward to going, even though I’ll be by myself. Probably better that way, I can take as long or as little time that I was to take
