Crew Brew wrapped up in Calgary today, closing out Safety and Health Week with visits to Arts Commons / Olympic Plaza with Palliser One and Upper Greenwich.

Across five communities and 10 active construction sites, Crew Brew created space for first-year safety conversations where the work happens—on site, in the everyday moments where safe habits are built.

Crew Brew rolled through Airdrie today with stops at Bayview and the new K-8 school in Windsong, bringing coffee and practical conversations about first-year safety in the flow of real work.

Thank you to Genesis Builders Group, Genesis Land, EllisDon, BILDCR and CCA for helping bring today's visits together, and to Mark Condon for sharing photos from the EllisDon site.

Across sites supporting active community development in Bayview, Bayside and Cobalt Bay, crews shared a consistent message: first-year safety is built through how work is shown, explained and checked in real time.

Edmonton brought midweek momentum today as Crew Brew visited crews at The King's University and MacEwan University School of Business.

Thank you to Delnor Construction, Ledcor, Edmonton Construction Association and the crews who joined us for coffee, conversation and first-year safety reminders during Safety and Health Week.

Crews also tried Safety Showdown and saw how a short daily quiz can help start safety conversations on site.

"It gets people talking," one worker shared. "When the crew goes through a question together, someone might ask something they wouldn't have asked otherwise."

Crew Brew continued today in Whitecourt and Edson, bringing coffee and first-year safety conversations to active construction sites.

Thank you to Clark Builders and the crews at the Whitecourt Culture and Events Centre and Yellowhead County Edson Multiplex for welcoming us on site.

"You see it all the time—ten greenhorns showing up on site with no experience, suddenly expected to move drywall or jump into physical work right away," one experienced worker shared today. "Don't be overconfident and don't rush."

Crew Brew kicked off Safety and Health Week in Grande Prairie, bringing coffee and conversation to active construction sites.

Thank you to the crews at Westpointe Apartments and Maskwa Medical Centre, and to Stonebuilt Construction and Clark Builders.

Crews reminded us that camaraderie is the foundation of safety, especially for workers in their first year.

One worker said, "Safety always comes first. Protect your fingers. Don't take shortcuts or assume it won't happen to you."
