hello. since theres always some confusion among some folks, i just wanted to once again remind everyone that i am a trans woman and that trans people are so incredibly loved and inspiring and beautiful. things are never going to be easy, in fact every day it seems like things get harder and harder for us. but if there is anything i want to use my platform for its to constantly make sure u all know that there is still time for u, and that - no matter how bad things seem to be getting - there will always be a community that truly sees u if u can find it within urself to get out there and try to find it. i hope u all know that just by being alive u are an incredible inspiration to me and im so unbelievably grateful for that. im sure u must be tired of hearing the same neoliberal platitudes, but when the 45 year old mom tells u that ur so brave and so strong for simply existing, know that there is a truth and empathy contained in there that goes much deeper than they could possibly understand. do ur best to quell the brainworms that tell u to scroll down in the replies to this tweet and find all the terribly sad people that will never understand what its like to be us, and hold on to the people in ur life that truly love u.

This sucks because:
• Poor people will struggle more
• Abandonware continues to be deemed as a company's active property
• Funding and time spent isn't going to operations that need more attention than this
• Big companies continue seeing piracy as a boogeyman and people listen

We can't speak for other companies on the matter, but piracy has done wonders for us. Those who didn't contribute financially have instead contributed by spreading the word about our games, which lead to actual purchases through word of mouth.
