SURVIVAL SERIES PART II
The Bees take on Southgate away in the next part of the relegation play offs.
The Bees need one of two things to stay safe for now:
1) Win
2) Draw and hope that Brooklands get a win.
6pm Saturday 25th at Southgate, come and support the Bees.
GAMEDAY!!
The final home game of the 2025/26 season. Get down to Nottingham Hockey Centre to cheer on the Bees in a huge game against Brooklands!
6:00pm start.
SURVIVAL SERIES: THREE MATCHES TO SAVE PREMIER DIVISION STATUS
The equation for the Bees is brutally simple. Three matches remain. Every one of them must be attacked like a cup final.
A loss in any one of these final three fixtures would seriously hamper the Men's 1st Team escape from relegation from the Men's Premier Division.
That leaves one final run-in for the squad to produce the Great Escape. The group has turned their fortunes around during the second half of the season and have fought hard to keep the battle alive. The boys have secured 10 points in the last 5 matches. Now the season comes down to a three-game Survival Series against Brooklands, Southgate and Reading.
THE FIXTURES
•Saturday 18 April 2026: Beeston vs Brooklands, home
•Saturday 25 April 2026: Southgate vs Beeston, away
•Saturday 2 May 2026: Reading vs Beeston, away
LAST HOME GAME. ALL SUPPORT NEEDED.
The Brooklands fixture is the last home game of the season and the first night of the Survival Series. It is the one chance for the squad to have Nottingham Hockey Centre fully behind them before the campaign finishes with back-to-back away trips.
Every voice matters. If you can get down to the club on Saturday 18 April 2026, do it. The Bees need a proper home atmosphere as they battle for survival and try to take the first step in keeping Premier Division hockey at Beeston.
The Men’s 1st team take a week off for Easter before looking to continue their fine form with a trip to East Grinstead to finish Phase 2.
Phase 3 fixtures will take place on 18th, 19th and 25th April with details not known until after the EG game.
The battle continues!
Another big home game for the Bees at 6pm. If they can get another 3 points, they’re one step closer to being clear of the relegation zone.
Join us for 6pm pushback, have a pint and a curry down at the Stick and Pitcher bar at Nottingham Hockey Centre.
