@DayZ You need to fix the ability to turn crossplay off for xbox servers. PC players are plaguing servers across your game. You have not equipped console owners with the adequate tools to properly control/mitigate cheaters. Its not fair. Please fix this.

Hope you’re all doing well. It’s been a couple days since the update dropped, and there are a few things that have been noticed across the servers.

These issues are **NOT something I can fix myself** — they are all **game-side issues** that need to be addressed by the DayZ developers.

**🔍 CURRENTLY OBSERVED ISSUES**
───────────────────────────────
- 🌲 **Blocky / low-quality textures** on trees and buildings
- 📉 Performance increase is either very subtle or not noticeable in some areas
- 🪑 Certain static objects now **floating** (ex: chairs at spawns)
- 🗺️ Possible map/Y-coordinate changes causing odd placements
- ⚠️ Reports of **crossplay with PC**, which is concerning for console servers

**🛠️ WHAT’S NEXT**

We’re hoping for a **hotfix** from the devs soon to address:
- Texture issues
- Performance improvements
- Object placement bugs
- Any upgrades to server moderation considering cross platform is enabled. (Admin tools)

Hello @everyone 👋

Unfortunately, today’s updates will be **delayed**. I had previously informed everyone that the new 1.29 update would be releasing on **December 4th**, but that information was incorrect. My apologies to everyone for the confusion — that one is on me.

To clarify:
**Today is the release of the 1.28 Hotfix, NOT the launch of 1.29.**
This hotfix only includes a few bug patches and small adjustments (shown in the images below).
It is *not* the major update we were waiting for.

At this time, there is **no confirmed release date** for the 1.29 update.
The only official information we’ve seen is that DayZ will be running a **Christmas event on December 11th**, which suggests the update may be later than expected.

Because of this, the second phase of the BluZ content rollout — including the new items, loot updates, and economy changes — will be delayed until 1.29 actually drops.

**On the bright side:**
There *will* be sprinkles of new content added between now and the release of 1.29.
When the update finally arrives, it will mainly include the new items and whatever additional content the developers release with it.
