Love to see Clark Lea’s leadership and message of accountability to his players in the wake of not making the NCAAF Playoff. No pity party; excitement to prepare for bowl game. We’ve got the right guy leading our program. ⚓️⬇️

Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea talks about what he told his team when they didn’t make the CFP:
“The message was, 'We had control over this ... and we did not do enough.' I think it's really important that we take ownership. ... The world expects us to be disappointed right now, but what we are is excited [for the bowl game]."
After decades of waking up every day to train, prepare, and chase what’s next, today I officially retire from professional basketball.
Since 1989, every ounce of effort went into this game, so it’s only right that I dignify my career with the acknowledgment it deserves and all the hard work and dedication that brought me here.
Some may have considered me to have already been retired, but @thebig3 allowed me to extend my playing days and continue competing at a high level for a living. I never stopped lacing them up, training, and preparing for what was next…until now. Finally, there’s nothing more to chase.
From Memphis dreams to global courts, I thank my family, coaches, teammates, trainers, mentors, fans and everyone who supported me along the way. You all helped make this journey unforgettable.
Proud to have represented my family and my city on some of the biggest stages in basketball.
This journey is complete but now I’m ready to climb my Second Mountain. 🍻
Happy 2025 🎇🎆
Happy Birthday to my #VUNIT brother @OfficialDeeBee if you’re from the city, exactly 20 years ago today, you might have caught us at Hurricanes or Crazy Louie’s celebrating our annual Birthday Party!!
#20th Annual coming in 2025
Born & raised in Memphis. Reside in Miami. But, Nashville will always feel like HOME. No chance I’d miss my brother’s (@shanfoster_32) jersey retirement after all we shared. Happy to see the “V-Unit” crew & celebrate. #32Forever
ps Great win @VandyMBB ⚓️⬇️
Power ends the year on a high note. While Ball Hogs cap off their most successful season in franchise history.
We’re excited to see both of these teams back in 2022!
“Considering the stage, this was the best game I’ve played. It’s something you visualize before the game. I saw myself making shots, and those shots went in in the second half.” - @OfficialDeeBee
Looking forward to watching DB go off tonight at 7:30 p.m.
