#RHNKPanAfricanConference2026
Like nature in June, people flourish when nurtured—not limited by violence, stigma, or inequality. Let's grow a future rooted in human rights, health equity, and inclusion for all. 🌿 #HumanRights#WLHIV#EndGBV#HealthEquity

Running through June 5, 2026, this annual gathering has united over a thousand delegates, including government officials, civil society leaders, academic researchers, private sector representatives, and young advocates from more than 38 countries across Africa and the globe.
Under the theme, “𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘙𝘏𝘙 𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺, 𝘍𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘗𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢’𝘴 𝘋𝘺𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘚𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘰-𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦,” the conference serves as a nexus for dialogue, innovation, and strategic collaboration.
As Africa navigates complex and shifting socio-political environments, alongside emerging global threats to reproductive health, the #RHNKPanAfricanConference convening focuses on moving beyond passive representation to establish robust systems that prioritize youth agency, safeguard rights, and empower young people to actively drive the development agenda.

❝One of the challenges we continue to face in Uganda, and across much of Africa, is the doctor-to-patient ratio and what that means for young people trying to access health services. Many young people have to queue at health facilities simply to access a condom, obtain a family planning method, or take an HIV test.
#SelfCare interventions offer an alternative by enabling individuals to access certain services independently. For example, a young person can use a pregnancy test kit or an HIV self-test kit without having to wait for a healthcare provider or spend hours in a queue. This creates more convenience, promotes privacy, and helps young people seek care without fear, stigma, or the pressure that can sometimes come from elders and communities.❞

Menstruation is normal, dignity is a right, and no girl should miss school because of her period. Together, let’s end stigma, period poverty, and silence around menstrual health.
#MenstruationMatters#EndStigma#EndPeriodPoverty
Menstrual health is about dignity, equality, education, and access.
No one should miss school, confidence, or opportunities because of a natural biological process. Menstrual dignity is a right, not a privilege. 🩸🇺🇬 #MenstrualHealthDay
“Technology has the power to transform women’s health by bringing information and services closer to those who need them most. However, meaningful progress requires open conversations on sexual and reproductive health, personal commitment to self-care, access to reliable information in languages people understand, and responsible use of digital platforms to protect against misinformation and online violence. An informed and empowered woman is better equipped to make choices that safeguard her health, well-being, and future.”
Today, our Executive Director Ms. @FatiaKiyange joined a distinguished panel at the Buganda Women’s Convention 2026, a platform dedicated to empowering women to drive positive change in business, health, and climate action for a more equitable and sustainable future. Under the theme, “Empowering Women to Drive Change in Business, Health and Climate Action” (“Okusobozesa Abakyala Okukulemberamu Enkyukakyuka mu By’Obusuubuzi, Eby’Obulamu n’Eby’Obutonde Bw’Ensi”)
Drama and music are powerful tools for promoting good menstrual hygiene because they educate, inspire, and break silence in ways people easily understand and remember.
#MHDay26#EndStigma#EndPeriodPoverty
Every young girl living with HIV and navigating her period in silence deserves dignity, access, and a world that truly recognises her full humanity.
Remember, periods don't pause for stigma, and neither should our advocacy.
#PeriodFriendlyWorld#INTER4SUSTAIN
We’re celebrating periods and reminding everyone:small cartoons should preserve her dignity.
Keep your politics out of her uterus.
Yes,you heard that right.
Her monthly flow doesn’t define her future.
Her energy and what she believes in does.
Don’t make her feel embarrassed.
Today ,@ahfugandacares joins Uganda and the rest of the world to celebrate #MenstrualHygieneDay raising awareness on menstrual health and hygiene for girls and women globally.
This year’s c reminds us that investing in menstrual health means investing in girls’ education.
