One of my life’s missions is always to make myself useful to other people. I do not view the impact of my life as the sum total of what I’m able to do for myself; that’s the lesser fraction. The bigger half is about what benefit I have been to other people, even people I have no physical relationship with and those who’ll never be able to say ‘thank you’ in person or via telephony or social media. If I’m 90 and on my deathbed, my overall fulfilment will be determined by the number of causes greater than me to have enjoyed the benefit of my time, expertise and resources.
I studied Animal Science but very consciously decided — not at gunpoint or ‘hunger point’ — to become a journalist. Specifically, one of the reasons I made that decision was to become a voice for the voiceless, the hoi polloi, those people whose voices may never be heard without me or my platform. These people are important to me.
You see those people who lose N10,000 to banks, N100,000 to erroneous Opay transfers, N25,000 to corrupt policemen or several thousands of naira to airlines like ‘Air Pieces’ — all those people whose stories are widely deemed unworthy of national attention — I will continue to tell their stories. As long as I have a voice, and as long as @fijnigeria exists…

Dear God,words put together are not enough to express what You have done for me in 2025.
"Tamara I'm scared of you " as I fondly tell you , especially when you take your time to take care of what caused me unnecessary stress.
You show up not just once but in threefold in that very situation.
Even when I drifted from you ,you stayed Lord.
With every tears I shed this year ,you replaced it with Joy.
In the end, you gave me peace in the storm and laughter only you could give.
I'm overwhelmed by your love and I'm super grateful.
I love you, my Personal Lord and Saviour.♥️✨
President Tinubu is doing his best for this country but unfortunately, he's getting little encouragement from the same people he's risking his life for, it's well. Ire oo. @officialABAT .
Electric space boer is doing his algorithmic suppression thing. If I post a football tweet, it will have 5 million views. When I post my usual serious content (which is what my following is built on), suddenly the algorithm will decide not to show anybody, including those with my notifications turned on.

@jon_d_doe Demo..what? Out of all the other thousands shouting and sinister along, he dares to notice on soul - an insignificant #?
Interesting!
If I came to his concert& got tired,& the only way to recharge/conserve energy was to sleep, I wouldn't hesitate - even if it was up stage.
They killed him, those terrorists killed him!
But there is no Christian Genocide happening in Nigeria right?
Just show me 5 imams who have been kidnapped and killed? Ok just show me 3, oh maybe 2!!
“Those who earn N37m a month are telling those who earn N18k a month that paying them N30k will lead to inflation”
But the victims earning 18k monthly, would happily kill and die in protection of the interests of those sodomizing them...🙃🤔
If they had negotiated and he came out alive with his family, these children of bitterness would still cry and insult everyone involved. But now that he’s gone, they will squeeze the tragedy for cheap clout and jump to the next trend like nothing happened.
This is the kind of headline these shameless Nigerians celebrate. They feed on bad news because it helps their useless agenda. Always using people’s pain and real life struggles just to score empty points.
If any of the captives were your loved one, you won’t criticize negotiating for their release.
RIP to those that have lost their lives.
