The Monitoring Team arrived at the location in Ikeja for the identification, inspection, and assessment of sagging cables.

FINDINGS

Inspection

Upon arrival at the location, the team carried out a thorough inspection and investigation of the sagging cables. It was discovered that the fibre cables had caused damage to two (2) vehicles. The cables were also obstructing the roadway and pedestrian movement, thereby posing a safety hazard to motorists, pedestrians, and residents within the area.

Identification

The team identified two (2) Internet (IXP) operators on the route, namely:

• Fibrenet @fibernetng

• FibreOne @FOBroadband

Assessment

The situation requires urgent attention to prevent further damage to property and to ensure the safety of road users and residents; which is one of the core responsibilities of @OfficialLASIMRA @followlasg

This state-of-the-art smart building is designed to be more than just an office. It’s a modern ecosystem engineered for peak performance. Equipped with a fully fitted gym for staff wellness, a cafeteria for seamless daily operations, an on-site clinic for health and emergency support, a sophisticated media room, advanced Command & Control Centre, and a high-capacity server room for robust data collection, storage, and analytics — this facility sets a new benchmark for government infrastructure in Nigeria.

Beyond the impressive amenities, the building incorporates smart technologies that will streamline LASIMRA’s regulatory oversight of utility infrastructure across Lagos State.
