NDARANI, SAN CHARGES NEWLYWEDS ON LOVE, PATIENCE AND GODLINESS

Marriage remains one of the most sacred institutions ordained by Allah, and its success depends largely on the values upon which it is built. It was on this premise that I urged newly married couples to embrace love, patience, mutual respect, trust and the fear of Allah as the foundation of a peaceful and enduring home.

I gave this advice at the wedding Fatiha of the daughter of Alhaji Mohammed Baba Busu, Jakada Labari and Zonal Manager of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Minna, and Nurse Rukaya Baba Mohammed, who was joined in marriage to Alhaji Mohammed Usman Egbagi Haske Nupe of Suleja.

Marriage is a sacred institution that requires sacrifice, understanding, commitment and forgiveness. I encouraged the couple to support one another, make prayer a central part of their home and remain steadfast in the values that unite them.

I congratulated the families of the bride and groom and prayed that Almighty Allah blesses the union with peace, prosperity, good health and righteous children.

I also prayed for peace, unity and progress in Nigeria, expressing confidence that with collective commitment and mutual respect, our nation will continue to overcome its challenges and achieve greater development.

MADUGUN LAPAI: A CALL TO GREATER SERVICE
I am deeply honoured and humbled by the conferment of the traditional title of Madugun Lapai by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umaru Bako Ill, the Etsu Lapai.
This recognition is particularly meaningful because it comes from my own people.
I sincerely thank His Royal Highness and the entire Lapai Emirate Council for finding me worthy of this honour.
I regard this title not as a personal achievement, but as a call to greater service. It strengthens my commitment to promoting peace, development, and the welfare of our people while upholding the values of integrity, justice, and selfless service.

Statement on My Consultation Visit to the Niger State Governor

As part of my ongoing consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections, I had the honour of visiting the Executive Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, alongside his Deputy, Yakubu Garba, at the Government House in Minna, following my purchase of the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms to contest for the Niger South Senatorial seat.

My aspiration to represent the good people of Niger South is driven by a strong sense of responsibility to serve and to advance the collective interests of our communities. This visit was aimed at seeking guidance and blessings from the state leadership, in line with my belief that effective leadership must be anchored on respect for institutions, consultation, and shared responsibility.

I consider it both necessary and important to engage key stakeholders as we work towards building a more inclusive, united, and progressive Niger State. During the visit, I commended the present administration for its efforts in promoting development, stability, and good governance across the state.

Ndarani SAN declares Niger South Senatorial bid, pledges credible leadership and inclusive development

Yesterday, April 29, 2026, marked an important milestone in our collective journey, as I officially obtained the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the Niger South Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections in Niger State.

This decision is not driven by personal ambition alone, but by a deep sense of responsibility shaped by years of engagement with our people, listening to your concerns, understanding your challenges, and sharing in your hopes for a better future.

Across our communities, the message has been clear: the need for credible leadership, effective representation, and meaningful development.
It is this call that inspired me to take this step.

Over time, I have remained committed to supporting our people through educational scholarships, women empowerment initiatives, and other community-based interventions.

These efforts reflect my firm belief that leadership must be rooted in service and measurable impact.

Obtaining this Nomination and Expression of Interest Form is only the beginning of a greater responsibility to represent with integrity, promote unity, and advocate for development that reaches every community in Niger South, Zone A.

This journey is not about division or differences, but about unity, inclusiveness, and building a future that works for all.

I am sincerely grateful to our party leadership, elders, stakeholders, and supporters for their continued encouragement and trust.

Leadership with Compassion

In the spirit of Ramadan and the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, I considered it both a duty and a privilege to extend support to our people across Niger South and beyond.

Through the distribution of trailer loads of 50kg bags of rice, my intention was simple to stand with families during this sacred period, ease burdens where possible, and share in the blessings of the season.

I firmly believe that leadership is rooted in compassion, service, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people. Seeing the relief, joy, and smiles on the faces of many households remains the greatest reward.

As we continue on this journey, I remain dedicated to advancing the well being of our communities and upholding the values of unity, generosity and shared responsibility.

Today, I visited the esteemed APC Party Secretariat in Minna, Niger State, to officially communicate my aspiration and seek the invaluable counsel and partnership of the House of Assembly members representing the constituencies of Niger South (Zone A).

My decision to step forward is not driven by personal ambition but by a sincere desire to serve our people, strengthen the voice of Niger South in the National Assembly, and contribute meaningfully to the progress of our beloved zone. I firmly believe that leadership is a sacred trust that must be exercised with integrity, clear vision, and deep compassion for the people.

Over the years, I have witnessed the resilience of our communities, the bright aspirations of our youth, and the steadfast dedication of our elders. In the light of this developmental drive, I presented a ₦100,000,000 One Hundred million Naira educational support and scholarship fund to the Steering Committee of Women in Politics and Inclusive Governance (Women’s Wing).

Beneficiaries were drawn from Bida, Lavun, Edati, Mokwa, Agaie, Lapai, Katcha, and Gbako Local Government Areas to ensure fairness and inclusion across our entire senatorial zone.

The Ndarani SAN Humanitarian Foundation remains a mirrored demonstration of purposeful leadership, endless compassion, and uundeterred commitment to sustainable human development.

Through strategic investment in education, women empowerment, and medical outreach, the Foundation is not only addressing immediate needs but also laying an infallible foundation for long-term social and economic growth. The impact of this intervention will resonate far beyond the beneficiaries, strengthening communities, restoring hope, and reinforcing the belief that responsible leadership can truly transform lives. I am deeply honored by the visit and the overwhelming call by various youth and community groups urging me to contest for the Niger South Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.

This call represents a profound invitation to serve humanity and contribute more meaningfully to the development of our dear Niger State and Nigeria at large. In the spirit of responsibility and inclusiveness, I will embark on wide ranging consultations with my family, friends, associates, and relevant stakeholders before making a final decision.

I sincerely commend the youth groups for their unity, courage, and commitment to good governance. I urge them to remain steadfast in advocating for credible, qualified, and visionary leadership that will foster peace, progress, and sustainable development across our communities.

The engagement was further enriched by goodwill messages and endorsements from respected leaders, including Engr. EDUSOKO UNIVERSITY APPOINTS HUKUNCIN NUPE AS CHAIRMAN, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Edusoko University, Bida, has taken another strategic step towards advancing educational growth with the appointment and inauguration of Barr. Dr. Mohammed Ndarani Mohammed, SAN (Hukuncin Nupe) as Chairman, Committee on Sustainable Development of the Institution.

The inauguration ceremony held at the Etsu Nupe Conference Room, Wadata Palace, Bida, was presided over by the University Proprietor and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr.) Yahaya Abubakar CFR, Etsu Nupe.

His Royal Highness appreciated the appointees for accepting the responsibility and prayed for Allah’s guidance and success throughout their tenure. The Etsu Nupe also formally announced the appointment of His Royal Highness, Alh. Yusuf Nuhu, Etsu Agaie as the Chancellor of the University.

In his acceptance remarks, Barr. Dr. Mohammed Ndarani Mohammed SAN (Hukuncin Nupe) expressed appreciation to the Etsu Nupe and the Management Board of Edusoko University for the confidence reposed in him and his team. He described the institution as a project for the entire Nupe nation, not just its founder, and pledged to work diligently with both local and international stakeholders to position the university among the top-ranking institutions in Nigeria.
