I was going through my feed one day and I stumbled on a post from @druids01, he was talking of how you can design anything with figma and I was wowed by his COD design and prototype and I challenged myself to try it and well this is a user interface of CALL OF DUTY VANGUARD
My son and I travelled from Canada to Nigeria about a week ago
As we were praying as a family to leave the house and catch our flight, my husband pulled me close and started praying
He said “Lord, as I won’t be going on this trip with my wife and my son, please send your Angel to be with them”
We said Amen.
As we sat down at the airport lounge in the first layover waiting for our next flight, an elderly white man came and sat beside us.
Immediately my son started smiling at Him. This man told me to rest that He was here. He started playing with my son and running around the airport with him and I just sat down resting.
When it was time to go I said thank you and we left
When I got off that flight to enter the next connecting flight, this man was still on the next one with us
He Carried my hand luggage all around the airport. This bad was really heavy
He kept my boy super entertained because my son was obsessed with His pointy nose
At some point he went and got food and snacks and fruit. He carried my boy all around. And the long layover time passed like it was nothing
He was like our bodyguard, carry one help and nanny all in one.
Before we boarded the last plane heading to Africa, He told us He was leaving and heading back to Europe.
Before he left he looked at me and said “do you know my name?”
I said “no sir”
He said “my name is William”
That’s my son’s name. All the while I never knew. I was so shocked
I’m not sure exactly how we stumbled on a man who stood beside me almost my entire trip, helping me so much and making my journey a lot easier
All I know is that my husband asked God to send us an Angel and God did.
As you start this new week, remember that God answers prayer.
In the big and small aspects of life, involve God
The supernatural is real and very tangible for those who engage it
God is still healing people
God is still miraculously providing
God is still sending Angels on assignment
God is still answering prayers
Blessings!
you’re going to marry a man who pulls you closer when you’re overthinking instead of pulling away and leaving you alone with your darkest thoughts. someone who keeps you warm every night and never misses a moment to make you feel loved and understood. a man who randomly spoils you & tells you how sexy you look. and when you go to bed every night you’ll know that GOD answered all your prayers with extra blessings✨🤍
Please find a partner who loves you as much as you love them. All these
" Love me more than I love her/him" is selfish and will eventually lead to the partner that loves less taking the other for granted, and this is not a respecter of gender. It just happens
Two relationships taught me something about women: date the one who loves you more, and never take her for granted.
When a woman truly loves you, life becomes easier. Care, effort, and even gifts stop being one-sided.
If you find a caring woman who’s good to you and also well-endowed 🫣… hold her tight.
There’s nothing outside. Trust me.
A mutual got debited of 395,424 from her GT bank account for no reason.
She mailed them and was told it will take up to 40-90 days for it to be resolved.
No good respond, no transparency and how it was taken out..
Today she went to the bank and the only good thing they could tell her was that there's nothing they can do..
She was told that even if she likes, let her sleep in rhe bank.
They also told her she was the one that used the money.
She didn't initiate the transaction but GT bank claimed she had used her ATM card to make the transaction..
Since you GT bank claimed the ATM card was used, why not should her the evidence?
At least provide evidence indicating it was through the ATM that the money was deducted..
The nonchalant and "you will do nothing" attitude here is top-notch..
If it was a well known person or a rich person, I am very sure they will try to protect their bank and solve the issue at once..
Please let's create awareness for her so she can recover her Money..
Let's make this known to everyone..
If you have experienced this with any bank, please this is your chance to call them out..
This is the best Time to call them out.. don't air this please..
GT bank refund @AdageorgeA her money please!!!
About two years ago, an HR recruiter from one of the top-tier banks called me to negotiate an offer for a senior role.
The call came in while I was in the middle of a secure code review session with my software engineers. I saw an unfamiliar number and assumed it was a dispatch rider. When I picked up, he introduced himself as a Senior Recruiter from the bank I had interviewed with.
I said, “Oh hi, good afternoon. Please hold on for a moment. I’m currently in a session with my devs. Let me inform them that I’ll join the call later.”
Lowkey, I did that intentionally so he’d know my time was tight and that I wasn’t about to entertain a lowball offer.
When he mentioned the salary package, I told him straight up that it wasn’t encouraging enough for me to leave my current job and that they’d need to increase it. After some back and forth, he said he’d go back to his bosses and get back to me.
A few days later, I accepted another offer from a company that pays in dollars.
I sent the bank an email informing them that I had accepted a different offer and thanked them for the opportunity.
About two weeks later, the recruiter called me again. He said his bosses had reviewed things and asked him to inform me that they were ready to double their initial offer if I was willing to ditch the job I had accepted.
After explaining how great their revised offer was, he asked:
“So how much is this other company offering you?”
I replied, “It’s a US-based company… and I earn in dollars.”
Baba paused and then said,
“Omooo! You be big boy o! Fear dey catch me to ask how much sef. How far, come mentor me nau?” 😂
I laughed, gave a playful counter whining, and somehow we’ve been cool ever since.
After this HC, not only will mercy carry you, but you shall also have reasons to carry tangible evidence of God's mercies in your life in Jesus' name.
See how I carried MERCY today!
Here are 6 hard truths I’ve come to learn about long term love
1)Long term love gets boring. At some point the fireworks stop and that initial infatuation and excitement goes away. And that’s good. Because that initial chemical rush was never stability. It was adrenaline and adrenaline forever leads to burnout. Real love feels calm. Quiet mornings, same couch, familiar jokes.
And that’s not “losing the spark”. That’s building a nervous system that feels safe and trusted.
2) You will outgrow each other. Then you’ll catch up. And then you’ll repeat the same cycle again and again. Because th truth is you’re not going to grow at the same pace. One of you will always level up first. Whether it’s emotionally, spiritually or mentally. For a while it’s going to feel uneven like they are pulling you or you’re pulling them.
Strong couple don’t panic when this happens. They wait and resync again and again.
3) Your partner will trigger your deepest wounds. They will hit the exact spot where your childhood never healed. And your nervous system is going to scream. But this is not always a bad thing. It’s good to visit those triggers again Shane again untill that wound heals properly and stops being an infected wound covered and rotting.
Because before love can heal, it has to expose.
4) Attraction is a practice and not a feeling. Because nobody stays “hot” the same way forever. Bodies change, mindset changes, and life generally changes you. If you rely only on raw chemistry, you could get into trouble.
Long term attraction has much more to do with attention. Really looking at your partner and noticing them and choosing them every single day.
Like loving your partner’s laugh lines as they age. It’s using your attention to update your chemistry.
