The bride price is paid to your family of which your parents are by culture obliged to accept as a sign of appreciation and it’s not just money some use the kola, Palm wine amongst others…
Thanks for your attention to this matter!
Sorry to say, or best not to be sorry cause my take has no filters on the question this Elma lady was asked and how she answered. The question the lady from whatever country asked is ‘what’s a bride price’ that’s here in Nigeria or Africa at large and Elma couldn’t comprehend…..
The moment Carterefe new girlfriend asked his baby mama about Carterefe & Carterefe baby mama revealed she now has a man that loves her so much 😂😂😂
Buy paying the bride price it’s not a way of buying off the lady but a sign of respect because she’s definitely going to ask isn’t that buying off the woman? As she’s strange to such culture. This things are very simple c’mon man 🤦🏽♂️.
And Elma you’re not paying any ancestors….
PRESS RELEASE
OGUN POLICE COMMAND COMMENCES ENFORCEMENT AGAINST COVERED, UNAUTHORISED, AND VEHICLES WITHOUT REGISTRATION NUMBER PLATES
The Ogun State Police Command has commenced statewide enforcement against vehicles operating with covered, obscured, defaced, concealed, unauthorised, or no registration number plates, in compliance with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police. The exercise is aimed at strengthening security, enhancing public safety, and denying criminal elements the anonymity often exploited in the commission of crimes.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, has directed all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Team Commanders to impound offending vehicles and carry out thorough investigations in accordance with extant laws. The enforcement also covers vehicles displaying fake, improperly issued, altered, or otherwise unauthorised registration number plates. However, the directive exempts only those vehicles officially entitled to display flags in line with established protocols.
The Ogun State Police Command wishes to advise motorists, transport operators, fleet owners, and members of the public to ensure that their vehicles carry valid, duly issued, and clearly visible registration number plates at all times. This exercise is not intended to inconvenience law-abiding citizens but to enhance the capacity of law enforcement agencies to identify vehicles, investigate crimes, track criminal suspects, and strengthen the overall security architecture of Ogun State.
The Command remains committed to protecting lives and property and urges residents to comply with this directive while continuing to support the Police with credible and timely information. Officers deployed for the enforcement have been directed to conduct themselves professionally, courteously, and within the ambit of the law.
For emergencies and credible information, residents may contact the Ogun State Police Command through Gateway Shield (Toll-Free): 0800 000 9111; Emergency Lines: 0906 283 7609, 0912 014 1706, 0915 102 7369, 0708 497 2994.

🚨Ogun State Police Command foiled a kidnapping attempt of a Chinese national for N50m ransom demand; two suspects arrested.
Operatives of the Obalende Division of the Ogun State Police Command have successfully foiled a well-coordinated conspiracy to kidnap a Chinese national and arrested two principal suspects, Chinedu Onwuemena ‘M’, aged 41 years, and Jimoh Ojo ‘M’, aged 37 years, in connection with a planned ₦50,000,000 ransom demand.
The suspects were arrested on June 9, 2026, at about 5:30 p.m., following credible and actionable intelligence received by the Divisional Police Officer indicating an imminent kidnapping plot along the Ijebu-Ode/Odogbolu Expressway corridor.
Acting on the intelligence, the Divisional Police Officer immediately mobilised operatives of the Division, including the Surveillance Team, to the identified axis, where the suspects were promptly intercepted and arrested, thereby thwarting the execution of the planned crime.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects had jointly conspired to abduct a Chinese national and extort a ransom of ₦50,000,000. Further findings showed that Chinedu Onwuemena, who worked within the company environment as an interpreter and driver, allegedly exploited his position to facilitate the criminal plan.
Investigations further established that the arrested suspects did not act alone but in concert with another accomplice who is currently at large. Efforts are ongoing to track and apprehend the fleeing suspect, while discrete investigations continue to unravel the full extent of the criminal network behind the conspiracy.
The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for comprehensive and discreet investigation.
