Sad: Our Children Are Now Pawns in a Deadly Ransom Economy
It’s heartbreaking to report yet another bandit attack on a school, barely three weeks after over 40 schoolchildren and their teachers were abducted and are still languishing in the forest.
The security situation in Kogi State has taken another tragic turn with a brutal bandit attack on Government Secondary School, Iluke, in Kabba-Bunu LGA. Armed bandits disguised in military uniforms invaded the school during an ongoing WAEC examination, killed the Vice Principal, Mr. Gani Anifowose, and attempted a mass abduction of students.
Reports from the scene indicate that local security personnel and vigilantes actively resisted the attackers and frustrated their abduction attempt.
Making educational institutions soft targets is a direct assault on the nation’s future. It creates a psychological barrier to school enrolment and worsens Nigeria’s out-of-school children crisis, disproportionately forcing young girls out of formal education due to fear. There is nothing more heartbreaking for a nation than being unable to protect its children.
My heartfelt condolences go to the family of the Vice Principal, who lost his life while gallantly defending the children entrusted to his care. May God grant his soul eternal repose.-PO
Thank you President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for your warm wishes.
I deeply value our friendship and the strong partnership between India and Nigeria. Together, we will continue to work for the progress and prosperity of our peoples and for the advancement of the Global South.
@officialABAT
Your wife won’t let you sniff cocaine line off her ass crack.
Won’t agree to an orgy with the boys.
Won’t let you piss in her mouth.
And that’s just the beginning 😂🤷🏿♂️
The irony writes itself.
Referee Omar Artan previously posted on Facebook blasting the corrupt Mogadishu government for handing out Somalian diplomatic passports to TikTokers, random civilians, and cronies in exchange for cash or political favors people with zero official government roles.
A few months later, he conveniently obtained a diplomatic passport for himself ahead of the World Cup.
US Customs denial of entry is standard border vetting in action. When your own credibility and documentation raise red flags, entry gets rejected. Actions have consequences.
“No constant friends or enemies in politics” is not in my dictionary. That’s arrant nonsense.
When people show me who they are? I believe them. I leave no doubts whatsoever………….
What makes Theo & Brian different from Kenneth Okonkwo, Daniel Bwala, & Reno?
I was raised in a saner jurisdiction.
I won’t reinforce what I preach against.
For instance, “nothing will ever make me work for Asiwaju.” What can Bola possibly give me?
I understand that Nigeria is too far gone, & everything goes. Nothing is black or white!
But there are people whose reputations are still intact. Men & women of goodwill are out there. People should actually have personal integrity. Better still, borrow some secondhand shame.
“There is no morality in politics” is stupid talk. That’s the reason Nigeria is a complete mess.
Morals & values must return to Nigeria.
We must restore the throne of good men.
I understand from popular rhetorics that's "how politics is".
So tomorrow, it wouldn't shock you that I'm SSAing Tinubu in one capacity because " that's how politics is".
I'm sorry, that negates everything I stand for - and I am happy to be the outlier.
Of every option? Theo?
If you are going to be angry because NDC made Theo (that has insulted Peter Obi in the past) the party’s media Director. Then you should maintain same energy towards fact that after saying he was never going to step down and be PO’s running mate in 2023, because he is a PhD holder and Obi is a mere trader, Kwankwaso is today his running mate.
We need intentional people on board if we are going to fight the leading party to a win.
🚨🗣️ Robert Lewandowski:
“I will be supporting Portugal to win this years World Cup, Ronaldo deserves it than every other player competing for the World Cup this year.” 🇵🇹
🚨 When Cristiano Ronaldo missed a header against Chile last week, major football media pages were quick to highlight and criticize the miss, with the clip circulating widely across social media. 🇵🇹
Today, Lionel Messi missed an open-net chance against Iceland, yet the same level of coverage appears absent from many of those pages. 🇦🇷
Messi paid PR allegations are right after all? 🤔
I’m sorry but you political guys are hilarious man. The Theo guy was so toxic and anti-Obi I blocked him. How is he going to feel when he has to do publicity for the same person? This is like that guy Bwala. Man, Thank God for actual jobs and careers that don’t rely on politics
