I fell in love with Olympique Lyonnais over 10 years ago. After all this time, I finally made it to Lyon to see them play. I'll cherish this moment always and will be forever grateful to @OL for bringing such joy into my life! #TeamOL#OLASSE
The report in tomorrow’s L’Équipe on Lyon’s season notably indicating that former sporting director Juninho’s decision to get rid of Marcelo came about due to the defender’s poor performances, but also his flatulence in the dressing room and laughter about it.
@OffsideBeet I live in nyc, no space exists in bronx or manhattan for large parking lots around the stadiums, nyknicks/yankees/brooklyn nets, anyone coming by car has to pay strong money. mets have good space but that area of queens is not developed like the city core. (1/2)
Parking at Audi Field is out of control. It costs twice as much to park as it does to buy a ticket to a DC United match.
Ticket cost: $29
Parking: $70
There's no street parking, only a few expensive garages and lots. The metro isn't always an option either.
Do better, MLS.
I hope the rumors of Memphis wanting to come back to OL are a joke. I'm so over players fighting to leave OL because they think they deserve better, then fail to hack it at their new clubs, and then expect to be welcomed back to Lyon with open arms.
Stay away, thanks.
@EtienneLyon Needing a day or two off for physical injury, yes. But OM is one of the most vilified teams in Europe, and Payet is their most targeted player. I'd have expected his attitude to have been, "F*uck you, you can't stop me." Instead he's giving his attacker a lot of implied power.
And that is why I disagree with Marseille and Longoria. I don't disagree because I believe walking off the pitch is malicious or because I believe Payet isn't a victim.
I disagree because walking off the pitch gives too much power to the individual.
Yeah, waiting for this match for two weeks only to have it suspended after two minutes is bad. But you know what is worse?
Playing for 90 minutes, losing 4-0 and only shooting for the first time in the 58th minute.
Very disappointed in how things turned out. People who were watching L1 for the first time (like the bf) saw the ugliness first. He didn't even get to see five minutes of actual playing.
Hope he and the other newcomers to OL and Ligue 1 give it another chance.
