Maybe my opinion doesn’t matter to you, but Reece has the potential to be world-class if he can stay fit, which he rarely does for any meaningful period.
Ability-wise, he’s right up there. But if you can’t play 10 games in a row without getting injured, can you really be considered world-class? For me, not really.
I think you are still judging Reece based on the idea of what he can be rather than what he actually is, which is an incredibly talented but unreliable player.
In the goalkeeping position, is Courtois the only genuinely world-class keeper right now?
Because if we’re talking purely on current ability, I’d honestly have Raya and Joan García as the next two best after him. And if that’s the case, wouldn’t you consider at least one of them world-class as well?
Just watched a 48-minute video of Jude and Rogers glazing each other 😭, but Jude actually said something that stuck with me.
He mentioned that Rogers has this “dippy” shooting technique where he uses the side of his foot to get the ball to lift and then dip, and he compared it to Marco Reus, saying Reus was the only player he can remember doing it consistently.
The more I think about it, the more Rogers feels like a modern-day Reus type of player. And it also made me realise how forgotten Reus has become in football conversations. I genuinely can’t remember the last time I heard someone bring him up, probably not in the last five years. Obviously he’s washed now, but I mean in the sense that nobody really does the whole “remember Marco Reus?” thing the way they do with other big names from that era.
🚨🎖️| 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍: Balde is NOT for sale, despite growing speculation and interest from several clubs, especially from the Premier League. Although Balde played fewer minutes than expected last season and João Cancelo became Hansi Flick's preferred left-back, Barça still considers Balde an important part of their plans for next season. #FCBarcelona have already presented a contract offer to Joško #Gvardiol. Barça are prepared to pay €80m plus bonuses, but #ManchesterCity are unwilling to negotiate as they push for a new long-term deal. #RealMadrid remain interested too.

For what it’s worth, I think United should keep Rashford.
United seem to be in a better place, Rashford seems to be in a better place, and I still think they need someone with his profile, a genuine left winger. His contract is obviously massive, but if I were Rashford I’d just stay and see it out because he’s probably not getting a better deal than that anywhere else right now.
Sesko
Cunha / Rashford
Bruno
Diallo / Mbeumo / Dorgu
With this setup/depth, Rashford, Mbeumo, and Cunha can all play through the striker if needed, while Dorgu can play on the left wing. If Bruno needs a rest, Cunha can drop into the 10, or even someone like Mount, who I don’t think they’ll sell just yet.
That’s a decent enough attack without spending more money on expensive forwards. I’d focus the rest of the budget on midfield and defence.
For a team competing in all competitions, that’s pretty good depth without needing to spend another fortune on attackers.
🚨 BREAKING: Barcelona will NOT pay €30m buy option clause for Marcus Rashford, expiring in 5 days.
Rashford formally set to return to Man United but Barça remain open to new solutions, like another loan deal. ❗️
Barça are open to discuss again if #MUFC open doors. 🔵🔴
The idea of Real Madrid entering deals they don’t even need just to stop Barcelona is hilarious to me.
Since when did the biggest club in the world start measuring success by what Barcelona can’t do?
That’s a small-club mentality wearing a giant-club badge.
I need Álvarez to become unsettled with how he’s being used like a puppet. Madrid’s offer was never real, it was pure politics. The only way we get him or the way it always had to happen is if he publicly speaks out.
