VIDEO: Terrorists are seen playing with hospital equipment in a community in northern Nigeria, reportedly abandoned by residents who fled due to insecurity.
The disturbing footage raises serious concerns about the safety of civilians and the fate of public facilities in communities affected by terrorism in this APC / Tinubu Administration 🤦
When Hilda Baci stood for days to put Nigeria on the world map, the entire South stood still, cheered her on, and carried her to victory on the wings of massive support.
Today, our very own brother from the North, Abdulkadir Basari, is at MAAUN Kano, pushing through a grueling 120-hour non-stop sewing marathon to break a Guinness World Record—not just for fame, but to sew uniforms for less-privileged kids!
Why is Arewa so silent? We must learn to celebrate and lift our own champions. Let’s make some noise for him! 🧵
Baba, for this one wey you talk, we agree with you.
Make everybody guide o. This election is not looking like it’ll be a walk in the park.
Holy Ghost take control🙏🏽
“My Delta and Warri people, if you know say you want to vote for another party apart from APC, try and PUT THINGS FOR BODY…..
If you want to vote for Peter Obi in 2027, prepare because we are ready to give them back if they try to f0rce APC on us….”

In 2007, Daily Sun reported that Anambra State Governor Peter Obi had blocked pension payments to former governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju, who had left office in 2003 with more than ₦1 billion in unpaid pensions.
Unnamed sources told the newspaper that Mbadinuju had left behind 16 months of unpaid pensions and once described protesting pensioners as “dead woods.”
Obi reportedly said he found it difficult to approve Mbadinuju’s pension while the state was still struggling to clear the backlog of unpaid pensions he had inherited.
Daily Sun reported, “Obi said that he could not approve Mbadinuju's pension in good conscience as ₦1.7 billion duly paid to the state by the Federal Government was missing and was still being investigated.”
The governor’s spokesperson, Valentine Obienyem, did not confirm the report. However, when asked for his thoughts, he said, “It will become a good lesson to those that govern states that sooner or later, our actions and omissions will haunt us.”
Revolution is arleady starting from north! NDC will sweep across all nothern states ... Nigeria will be OK ✌️
Tinubu is relying on INEC & corrupt judges. He'll be disappointed!
That coastal highway project is the biggest economic scam!
#TinubuMustGo
He destroyed Landmark & people’s lives & businesses just to open up a coastal road that leads to his personal real estate development with Gilbert Chagoury. A very wicked soul.
A lot of things had to go right for Tinubu in the last elections.
A lot of people made it happen due to their own interests.
First Wike and Atiku had to fall out over zoning. Then, Wike had to convince 5 governors to work against their own party.
Then El Rufai had to get the naira redesign strategy by Buhari and Meffy to become redundant.
That plus a bottomless pit of cash.
If any of the above didn't happen, Tinubu won't be president today.
But the only people who can stand in the way of Tinubu now are you and I and millions like us.
We must vote, wait till our votes are counted, follow our votes to the collation centers and wait till they're announced.
The job of defending a democracy may take 24-48 hours, but we will feel its impact over the next 4 years if we don't.
Let's organize and take shifts if we have to.
We have a democracy to save.
Greetings, @inecnigeria.
We have been receiving complaints that on your portal for PVC inventory and pickup, only Osun State is showing. The other states are not displaying. Kindly fix this issue.
Retired military officers, including senior ex-servicemen, are picketing the Military Pensions Board headquarters in Abuja over alleged pension reductions and short payments of consequential adjustments.

A sitting minister says he helped defeat a candidate he considered very good, not because the candidate lacked competence, but because electing him would have meant the return of a political rival.
And he says it openly.
Let that sink in.
According to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s account, Asue Ighodalo was a good candidate. He had chaired a bank. He met with Wike several times. Yet Wike says he decided the man had to lose because of the politician who was bringing him.
And he says, “And he failed.”
If this account is accurate, it exposes a fundamental problem with Nigerian politics.
Where exactly do the people fit into this arrangement?
The Constitution says sovereignty belongs to the people. Yet politicians speak as though elections are personal battles in which candidates are pawns, parties are instruments of power, and the electorate is merely the crowd that must be mobilised to deliver victory.
The candidate is judged by who supports him, not just by what he can do.
The election becomes a contest between godfathers rather than a contest of ideas, competence and public service.
And the citizens? They are expected to pick a side.
This is how a democracy can retain the appearance of popular choice while powerful interests exert enormous influence over the choices available.
But the problem does not end with the politicians.
Where are the party members demanding transparent primaries?
Where are the legislators insisting that public officeholders explain their conduct?
Where are the institutions that should ensure elections are credible and political power is exercised within the law?
And where are we, the citizens, when the people we elect begin to treat public affairs as extensions of their personal rivalries?
We cannot keep asking why politicians behave this way without examining the incentives that reward them for doing so.
When political loyalty matters more than competence, political godfathers become more important than institutions.
When public assistance is treated as a personal favour, citizens become indebted to politicians rather than empowered by their rights.
When voters choose on the basis of ethnicity, party identity, handouts or personal allegiance instead of examining records and policies, politicians have less reason to fear accountability.
And when citizens lose faith in elections, withdraw from political participation or assume that nothing can change, the space for unaccountable power grows.
So, how do we arrest this malaise?
We demand transparent party primaries. We insist on credible elections. We scrutinise candidates before they reach the ballot. We hold elected officials accountable between elections, not just during campaigns. We strengthen independent institutions and support journalists and civic organisations that investigate the exercise of power.
Most importantly, we stop confusing access to a politician with influence over government.
A politician who gives you money is not necessarily serving your interests. A politician who helps your community is not exempt from scrutiny. And a politician who belongs to your party does not own your loyalty.
Our votes are not personal gifts to politicians. They are instruments through which we exercise political authority.
Nigeria has not run out of citizens who can lead, professionals who can serve, or people who understand what responsible government requires.
The question is whether our political system gives those people a fair opportunity to compete, and whether citizens are prepared to insist that it does.
A democracy cannot work as intended when citizens are treated as spectators in decisions that determine their future.
The people must reclaim their place at the centre of Nigerian politics.
You remember Joy Ezeugwu? the young girl who was expelled from her school in Enugu for exposing the deplorable state of Uwani General Hospital?
She started at her new school today.
Interestingly, her new school is also her dream university.
Peter Obi will continue to engage naturally with every age group through current technology and trends.
In 2026, you expect the best presidential candidate to restrict himself to radio broadcasts, don’t you?
I’d rather have him on TikTok than having a vegetable for a president who can only speak to his people via AI edited videos.
“Despite everything Goliath is doing against the NDC, let them remember that we have David in the person of His Excellency Peter Obi. That David will bring down Goliath!”
— NDC National Chairman assures Nigerians.
“President Tinubu, imagine the kind of impunity you have enabled in Nigeria, all in the name of securing a second term. You have allowed power-intoxicated like the FCT Minister to forget their place.
How can Wike openly say he is controlling a state election? Does he actually understand the power of the people?
The masses are bigger than all of you. Nobody knows the outcome of the 2027 election because you people have pushed Nigerians to the wall. I blame the people that refuse to unit, always using tribal card and religion".

You damaged lives & livelihoods in 12 years. Thousands died due to hunger & insecurity.

You took a bag of 50kg rice from ₦8,000 to ₦120,000, & managed to bring it down to ₦65,000-75,000 (through massive food importations & import wavers that put our farmers out of business), & you want an award?
