@mmartin_edu Having worked in a coastal town, it's nearly all down to the lack of "anywhere further" physically. The more peninsular style it is, the worse it is too. You just get cut off and there's no opportunities. Those same physical reasons stop companies investing too.
@adamboxer1 I think teachers have seen:
- drastic drops in behaviour
- high grades at Michaela
We conclude, fix the behaviour, as a school, and at the worst we'll improve... and we might have "airtime" to be brilliant. Teachers WANT to teach.
I want to learn more about explicit instruction. Tell me one thing I ought to read first. (Over been all over the place and I’m confused, somehow) #pedagogy#tandl#teaching
@adamboxer1 Tbh it’d depend on behaviour. I’d happily have a class of 60 if they’d behave the same as a class of 20. And if I had enough mini whiteboards. Could be quite fun even.
@tombennett71 Just worth reminding parents that the minimum age for WhatsApp in the uk is 16.
It’s 13+ for most social media. WhatsApp is another league.
@Reg791 I'm baffled. What's wrong with putting out the documentary? It's not about Muslim grooming gangs, it's about a real case. How does it stop the BBC being British? Are you ok!?
@Glinner@GaryLineker I honestly find the "deafening" thing very childish.
People can make a point or a protest about what they want. You can't pick on people for not making a statement about things, that's just rude. It says more about you than about them.
