If you like #bonegrave you should absolutely check out the Undertale comic au "A Thorn in My Side" which explores a pretty similar concept.

@OldFashiondDino If they both are somehow finished and ready at the same time, I would still prefer a staggered release. Chapter 6 comes out and then 1-2 weeks later Chapter 7 at earliest.
@Cracked_3gg@MrAppleSalad Undyne had only recently injected Flowey with determination, he never mentions seeing the other humans nor their souls. He was also surprised when he lost the power to save and load.
@Cuneyt_S_Sevi Deltarune prophecy only has one ending but it can be achieved in two vastly different ways. Undertale for example, the prophecies โunderground will go emptyโ refers to two different sides and interpretations of what that means. Pacifist or Genocide. Violence or love, etc etc.
@gasterstruelove Noelle is like the mascot of white women incorporated, if youโre a straight cis guy and fw Noelle thatโs like being the ultimate ally
Possibly injected with determination rather than being a soul.
Would be interesting. In undertale monsters canโt have determination or they risk melting into amalgamates/dying. This game largely avoids the word though.
This post made me realize that you can actually get this dialogue with both hatted and non-hatted Ralsei depending on how you progress and thatโs kinda cool.
After all, if there is only one ending, and with Noelle being so important to the story, I can't help but feel her going insane is an inevitable outcome, the weird route just makes it happen sooner.
#deltarunespoilers Bringing this thread up again, because I think the weird route skipping Chapter 6 is very intentional. Something with Noelle happens in Chapter 6 that is going to break her.
When we force our will onto Kris in this way, we reignite Noelle's feelings for Kris in a much different way.
In a way that contrasts very well with the "love" we have for these characters, by doing the weird route in the first place.
I think it's just a matter of if Noelle is broken by us the player through Kris, or if something she experiences in the dark world does. The path is already paved, it's just a matter of if we are the ones to initiate it or not.
Basically she was either removed because she would be too unpredictable for the prophecy, or the exact opposite reason, that she would guarantee the prophecy is inescapable altogether. Removing her evened the odds?
Ironically, Snowgrave route would probably be harder to execute with Dess in the way- so maybe, maybe that is the reason why.. Yet still does not explain what exactly happened for her to be lost in the dark...
