Actually, he probably would have referred to 1 Corinthians 7:5.
"Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of" self-control."
But he's not here, so nobody can say for sure. Let's no be putting words in his mouth.
It actually is very cruel, and if the tables were turned it wouldn't be viewed as acceptable at all. It's a HUGE double standard. Not okay. Also, this behavior is a huge red flag, repeated consistently long term, it is absolutely emotional spousal abuse, and it's not what a loving partner does. Shocker, but you do have to think about the wellbeing of your spouse and not just live day by day serving your own self interests.
It's okay to be angry that millions of people came to our country not to bless it and assimilate and embrace their identity as Americans, but to defraud Americans and take from the system while denigrating the founding values of the United States.
We should be angry about that.
There has never been a better time before midterms, after seeing how deadly serious MAHA voters were in Iowa tonight, for the White House to release an executive order declaring pre-harvest desiccation is over and Round-Up in America will have the same standards as the EU.
The dual-income household didn't liberate women.
It inflated housing prices, created the childcare industrial complex, and turned every family into a tax bracket.
Two incomes later, you're still broke — just busier.
Pressuring, coercing, or guilting people into MAID is a human rights violation. It's time we start acting like it. Countries that let this happen need to face serious consequences.
WHAT 🤯 A man in his 40s with inflammatory bowel disease, was assessed outside a Tim Hortons, offered MAID, AND driven by the DR to the assisted suicide facility, and killed by MAID 🤯
I honestly thought this headline was fake, but it’s real
Welcome to Canada 🇨🇦 I feel sick
@robbystarbuck@elonmusk Unlike Pence, people who actually know what time it is know there's no going back, there's only fighting through this to stomp out leftist terrorism once and for all.
Lately, I've been thinking about getting our little one ready for homeschooling kindergarten. Starting this daily learning adventure with him is exciting, but it can feel a bit overwhelming if you don't have a simple plan. In our home, we like to have a gentle early routine. Some families wait until later, and their kids still grow up happy and smart. Whatever works best for your family is great!
Everyone is slamming this video but the NYT published an article just last month about young couples who aren’t having kids because they think a 2,400 sq ft house is too small, their overseas travel costs would increase, and they already pay $600 a month for poodle daycare.
Sure, stuff costs more these days, but insane living standards and overconsumption is a huge part of the problem for young adults.
@cboyack@abbythelibb_@tuttletwins Thank you for making a statement on this. Our family loves the Tuttle Twins. Happy to hear we aren't inadvertently funding chaotic and destructive gossip.
Believe it or not, homeschool freedom is still under threat. They don't just come arrest you anymore. They create standards that public schools don't even meet, scrutinize the healthcare methods you choose, demand to see your curriculum, and bribe you with "freedom accounts."
Repeat after me: IT'S NONE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S BUSINESS.

Two hundred and fifty years ago today — on May 17th, 1776 — the Second Continental Congress called for a day of humiliation, fasting, and prayer.
Today, exactly 250 years later, we gather to do the same. To humbly ask once more for God's mercy and guidance — as we enter the next 250 years of this republic.
