@finblox I think users would appreciate some reassurance that their principal is safe and will be withdrawable at some point. The statement that market-driven conditions may affect user balances is somewhat concerning.
@otteroooo Recently, Prime Trust has been sending back UST instead of processing the withdrawals as requested. Except now UST is worth less than a cent, versus around 90 cents when we requested the withdrawal.
Imagine you had money on Vanguard or Fidelity and wanted to withdraw it back to your bank account. You make the request, but you never receive your money. Instead, your money was given to a third-party, and the third-party held it without your consent until it was worthless.
@otteroooo Around May 9th, there were multiple deposits to this wallet, at least some of which were from Alice users. Some Kash users reportedly can also trace their withdrawals to this address, which makes sense since Prime Trust serviced both platforms.
@otteroooo If there is anything you could do to help bring awareness to this, it would be much appreciated. A full write-up by one of the affected is here: https://t.co/12zG9TCEgn.
That happened.
@alice_finance = Vanguard/Fidelity, and @PrimeTrustCo = third-party.
Affected users still haven't gotten their withdrawals in their bank account. It's been over one month. @FatManTerra@Cointelegraph @TheBlock__
@Nick84883905@finblox Thanks, already checked. None of those articles on the support page were archived. But that's OK, the changes were already shared by someone earlier.
@toomadbro@finblox Thanks - I actually withdrew all my funds from Finblox after Celsius went down so these public statements are for the benefit of others who may not have been as fortunate.
@Vanture@finblox Well, that's unfortunate. Would've been nice to have that anywhere else besides Telegram - was that information anywhere on the site (pre-update)?
@mrkmcdo@finblox Do you care to comment on this? Many people deposited on Finblox because of the advertised insurance. If the insurance was in fact limited and we were only notified of its limitations yesterday, do you think users should bear the brunt of that?
@finblox Thanks for the update. Since you have a $45 million insurance policy with Fireblocks, do you intend on making any claims to help facilitate withdrawals?
@finblox As I'm sure you already know, Celsius announced today that they are suspending withdrawals. Other CeFi platforms have since provided reassurance to their users. So far I've had no issues at all with Finblox - just looking for some reassurance!
If you have a transaction stuck in "pending" status with @alice_finance and @PrimeTrustCo and are interested in pursuing legal action, please reach out to me privately. I have been in contact with a well known firm in the crypto space and they are interested in taking on our case
@BMcluna@alice_finance@PrimeTrustCo What is the timestamp that Jump trading stopped serving UST trade? Did you communicate it with all your client ASAP? Why don’t you return the UST back to your client ASAP once you realize you can’t sell it? Why we need to bear the loss for you and your business partner’s issue?
