Rosalie was always good-hearted, genuine and kind. She always gave priority to our students; she was ego-less, humble and yet elegant in class. Our students and instructors who met her will miss her greatly.

This week I received the sad news that Ms. Rosalie Gigante passed away. I feel extremely saddened and I miss her. She came to study at the Ohashi Institute after being introduced by her Japanese sumie teacher — which she had studied for a long time.
