@Stickballruss This good sir, is a mid-1900s vacuum coffee pot with a glass percolator. It's my daily driver for freshly ground beans when I’m not using my espresso machine. The lid was improvised when I was gifted it; they're not expensive and brew some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

I think that is the conclusion. I dont see any real purpose outside of comp play and asset value to own real cards; which imo means you should probably learn to play pre-modern if you want to own actual cards, but I am willing to hear any opposition. 6/6

Help me understand casual (EDH) logistics. I understand that socials feed you info that may not be reflective of the entire player base, but I dont get how EDH prints WOTC money when proxies seem to be constantly pushed amongst casual players. 1/x

Emotion.WOTC plays with this; Packs are gambling. The feeling is highly addicting as is getting new things. Even if you dont get a chase rare, you dont have quite the same feeling of loss as if you played a slot machine and got nothing. Your sense of pride also lives here 5/x

Long-term goal: repurchase Magic collection from real estate and have the time to dedicate to the game (if WOTC hasn't completely ruined it by then)

@Blarffles am I crazy for wanting Kraul Harpooner in the prowess matchup (maybe on the draw)? It can naturally take out a DRC which can sometimes be a problem after a Chalice dependent hand on the draw and sometimes take out a second when forced to attack
