The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office came to the Intro to Criminal Justice class today to put on a demonstration of their K9 partners’ ability to track, find contraband, and showed off their obedience and bite skills. Students got to ask questions and learn about law enforcement.
Each year before the start of classes, we have a staff & faculty convocation. We spend time in worship and prayer, our president delivers a message, staff and faculty awards are presented, and we partake in holy communion together as we prepare our hearts for the new year.
Today we officially rename “New 2” to Pollard Hall in honor of Dr. Jim Pollard and family who have served the OCU community for over 83 years. Dr. Pollard (Dean of Students & psych prof) & wife Shirley (registrar) and their 3 daughters served our University for over 83 years.
This Memorial Day, let us pause and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We also pray for the families of those who lost someone serving our country. 🇺🇸
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
