The Morrow County Courthouse was built in 1854. Today it houses the Morrow County Court of Common Pleas and its probate & juvenile divisions. In 2007, the building was closed from June 27 - July 5 after a man spilled about a pound of poisonous mercury in the Mount Gilead landmark
