It’s with deep gratitude to the Board of Trustees and the Buckeye community that Lalita and I accept the opportunity to serve Ohio State in this new role. We’ve come to know and love Ohio State as a true powerhouse – across academics, athletics, research and health care – where people care about one another just as much as they care about excellence. My message to our campus community:
Trustees today appointed Ravi V. Bellamkonda, a biomedical engineer and neuroscientist, longtime academic leader, and @OhioState’s executive VP and provost since January 2025, as the university’s 18th president, effective immediately. https://t.co/0xtPIr2cBi
