A recent investigation reveals Nestlé has been adding sugars to baby foods in lower-income countries, including Senegal, South Africa, and the Philippines, despite promoting "no added sugar."

Report found 94% of tested products in Africa, Asia, and Latin America did contain added sugars.

One example, the EU labeled Nestlé's baby cereal says it contains “no added sugar.” But in Senegal and South Africa, the same product has 6 grams of added sugar per serving,

Global health experts and regulations like WHO's guidelines strongly recommend against added sugars in foods for children under three due to long-term health risks such as obesity.
