@jemmm85517813 Data centres will reduce the price of electricity - as they incentivise additional power capacity - then the grid upgrade we all need (roughly half of the electricity bill) is divided by more consumers (people, businesses and data centres), plus DCs provide vital flex
@ClaireCoutinho It’s self defeating too, as people on benefits vote Reform over Labour and yourselves; you’d both be better off reducing benefits (and national insurance) and incentivising people to work
@JKempEnergy How can the U.K. get electricity prices down though? It baffles me how European countries with both higher and lower renewable shares have lower electricity prices, we must be doing something wrong
