The funny thing is people equate that kind of parenting to lack of love!

Which is crazy to me!

My parents loved me enough to let me figure stuff out, you don't realize the more you solve their issues the more they are actually helpless!

And helpless individuals get absolutely wrecked by life!

Bad shit happens a lot when you've never faced the consequences of anything, you never stop to question anything, just here we go!!!!

I mean we were the same at first, but a broken arm, or a belt across the ass had us questioning some decisions!

Honestly we still did dumb shit, we just made sure no one but our friends could find out!

That and we weren't carrying around video cameras everywhere we went, no proof? It's like it never happened!

There's this modern notion purveyed in educational institutions that historically women had no power, no say, no rights!

I would argue that you had all the best of all of them!

You had power over powerful men
You didn't have to say anything
You had the right to not be a tax mule for the ruling class!

You traded alot of great things for the worst of it all.

Somewhere along the line I hope women reclaim their natural position as the reason men crave success! Not as opponents to their success!
