Homicide Investigation Update:

On 5/31/25, Sheriff’s Dispatch received multiple calls stating a female may have been murdered on Sisar Road in the unincorporated area of Santa Paula.

The suspect, Hillairet was located and arrested on June 2, 2025 in Baja California.

On 05/10/2025, at about 9:00 AM, Ojai Patrol deputies arrested (A) Javier Soriano Cassarubias for his involvement in the brandishing of a firearm and criminal threats incident that occurred the night of 05/09/2025 in the unincorporated area of Ojai known as Oak View.
