A woman has just given birth.

Everybody is happy. Then suddenly, she starts bleeding.

This is postpartum haemorrhage, and when it happens, no one has time to ask where the drug, tranexamic acid or TXA is.

That drug, Tranexamic acid can help reduce deaths from bleeding when it is given early after PPH starts.

So if a facility is providing emergency obstetric care, TXA should not be something they start looking for when the emergency has started.

It should be there.

As a man, if your wife is preparing to give birth, ask if the facility has TXA available. Same thing if you’re pregnant and preparing for delivery.

Ask questions. Know what is available.

Prepare before the emergency comes.

I created an AI Smart Glass to help blind people walk without a cane or a guide 👓
But this is not like the smart glasses people are used to seeing

Because this Glass combines AI, sensors, and GPS to help the user detect things in front of them, avoid obstacles, and know their location

But the most amazing thing is if the user gets lost, the GPS tracking system can help locate where they are from anywhere, and then send the location to the phone of the person taking care of them via WhatsApp or Email 📲

And now I am further developing it to a new level of AI + Voice, so it can speak with the user and also help them understand their surroundings

Your bias has gotta be pretty dumb, to know that I can make you a million dollars if you invest $100,000 in my project, but then choose not to do it, simply because you think "Women shouldn't be founders in web3".

I've refused to accept that "It's because I'm a woman", I think it's just a case of me expanding my network.

I'm either selling myself short, or need to expand my network to have both:

- people with deep pockets and
- people with deep belief in me

Because how else do I justify that I apply for something early enough, have all the traction and "validation" required, and are already getting revenue, and yet.....

my project gets passed on for a guy's project that hasn't even built traction or started getting revenue.

The easy thing is to accept the "yeah-it's-because-you're-a-woman" cliché.

The hard thing is to tell myself;

"Karla you need to expand your circle, get your own 'cabal' because at this point it's obvious🙄"

that it's not just about working hard, validating your idea and making revenue.

It is a lot about who's in your network!

You can be the 💯 fit and still get passed on because"you're not in the circle".
