So, I was looking for a new job yesterday and I seen a RN case manager position, all a candidate would need is a BSN making over 100k. I then see a Social Work case manager position which requires a masters (LMSW) making 59k same job description, same location. Pissed me off
Personal mental health records should remain 100% confidential and be excluded from the Oklahoma Health Information Exchange database. Not doing so would be a violation of the patient's rights, trust, and privacy, which is the basis of effective mental health therapy.
I was honored to welcome so many mental health professionals from all over OK to THEIR House today! Their main concern is protecting the privacy of their clients which may be at risk in a Health Information Exchange. Shout out to @OkProv4Privacy who organized this rally! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Today we’re at the OHCA as therapists and counselors prepare to march to the Capitol. They’re protesting a law that will soon require them to register patient information to a state database for us by healthcare professionals. @koconews
We look forward to seeing everyone at the rally tomorrow in our fight for privacy. Don’t forget to dress warm and in comfy shoes. If unable to complete the full march, please join us on the Capitol grounds.

Those in a position of authority keep pointing to money as both the problem and solution as if it's the issue.
*Privacy is the issue*
Any discussion ignoring concerns for privacy is a moot point. #IAmOKprov4Privacy#keeptherapyprivate
@pmonies@MaryBorenSD16 Were physicians & providers aware of SB1369 in 2022? Yes. The bill is brief and gives the OHCA and its designated board rule promulgating power. So, their proposed rules (crafted with no input from affected physicians & providers) are now public & quite alarming. @OkProv4Privacy
