During the #Francophone Day celebrations today, the Principal @ProfMuhwezi . emphasized the importance of the French language as a gateway to opportunity in an increasingly globalized world. He noted that educators must go beyond teaching students how to speak French, and instead help them read, think, and engage with it as a language of knowledge, innovation, tourism, diplomacy, and enterprise.

He further highlighted that language opens doors to new ideas and cultures, enabling learners to compete beyond the classroom from the local stage to the national, African, and global stage. According to him, this journey must be supported by a strong culture of reading, discipline, and curiosity among students.

The Principal concluded by encouraging learners to see French not merely as a classroom subject, but as a powerful tool that can shape their future careers and expand their horizons.
