I just read online about a Downs Syndrome man fathering a child. The article says a man with Downs Syndrome usually cannot father a child because the extra chromosome 21 disrupts normal sperm production during cell division. There is a tiny number of rare exceptions that have been medically documented worldwide but still fatherhood is extremely uncommon
