Jurriën Timber: “Curaçao is my mother’s island and my family’s home. To open a Cruyff court on this island means a lot. This pitch is for the next generation to come together, play and chase their dreams. That’s what football can do” 🇨🇼
I remember when Mike Brown was appointed head coach of Nigeria’s men’s national team ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
He led the team through Olympic preparation and the Famous exhibition win over Team USA before Tokyo 2020
After the Olympics, Brown publicly said he wanted to continue with the program and help build Nigerian basketball long term.
But in 2022, Nigerian basketball was disrupted by governance disputes inside the Nigeria Basketball Federation and the Nigerian government temporarily withdrew national teams from international competition. That created uncertainty around the program and disrupted continuity.
Today, he is a NBA champion as the coach of the New York knicks
Arsenal “defenders are good because Arteta’s low block system protects them”. The same system they say is reliant on set pieces but you get set pieces from being on the attack, putting teams under pressure via shots/crosses/dribbles etc. So which contradiction we going with? 😂😂
If I were Marquinhos, I’d feel so disrespected. Imagine being a 2x UCL winner & nobody look your face cos mentioning your name wouldn’t bring engagement 😂
Please let’s take it easy with Igor Thiago slander. It’s just 1 game.
Yes! J. Pedro is supposed to be at the World Cup, but Thiago is supposed to be there too. 20+ goals with Brentford no small.
Joao Pedro isn’t Messi.
Chelsea went 6 games + without scoring a goal with Pedro.
