It looks like the Republican establishment and their billionaire backers are beginning to panic about Angie Nixon. And they should.
She pulled off a huge upset in winning the Democratic primary and she’s going to do it again in the general election.
Go Angie!
Let's not lose sight about the big picture here.
Courts keep telling Trump that he's defying the constitution—trying to end-run Congress and the judiciary—to keep his top prosecutors in half a dozen states.
All to have loyalists decide who to criminally charge.

The Trump admin is claiming there are 278,000 noncitizens registered to vote and trying direct states to remove them.
But the National Voter Registration Act prohibits systematic removals from voter rolls after August 5.

🚨BREAKING: A Republican candidate accused of r*ping two 13-year-old girls is on track to become the next police chief of a Louisiana town, because his only opponent just dropped out of the race.
Chris Paul, who is running for police chief in the Village of Elizabeth, was arrested earlier this month on two counts of second-degree r*pe, according to KPLC. He is accused of r*ping two 13-year-old girls between 2005 and 2006. Paul is out on bond and has not been convicted of anything.
His opponent, Zachary LaCaze, says he was told to choose between his campaign and his civilian security job at Fort Polk, and he chose the paycheck that supports his wife and son. That leaves Paul with a possible automatic victory.
The Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office confirmed that Paul is eligible to hold office unless he is convicted of a felony. That means a man facing child r*pe charges could legally be handed a badge and a gun while his case is still pending. LaCaze’s name will stay on the ballot, but signs will tell voters the race has been canceled.
Paul declined to comment and says he plans to stay in the race.

I don't wanna COUCH my words here: I know JD Vance, his eyeliner, and absent Ashley Moody are used to running away from people when things get tough because they care more about themselves and their billionaire buddies than the people they represent. But this is my home. /1
Trump doesn't have the power to fire court-appointed U.S. attorneys, a federal judge ruled. Judge ordered that Roger Rogoff, whom Trump purportedly fired, has been U.S. attorney since July. Also barred Trump/DOJ from interfering w/Rogoff's authority.

People are worried that Pete Hegseth is clearing out top military generals and positions of leadership so Trump can use the military to overturn the midterms.
Is that something you're concerned about?

Inflation went up.
So the administration changed how inflation is calculated and then pretended it went down.
Par for the course with the most corrupt and incompetent and underqualified and disinformation-obsessed presidential administration in the history of the United States.
